28 Essex students have joined forces in a ground-breaking partnership to produce and launch an album of songs; “Something for Everyone”.
The students from two Thurrock-based colleges - USP College Palmers campus, and the National College Creative Industries (NCCI), have been working together for two months following an introduction by NCCI course leader, Pete Herbert. The album launch has been planned and organised entirely by the students, with recording and production of the CD also forming part of the event planning and contributing to their coursework.
The students will showcase their efforts on Wednesday 3 April 2019 at an event open to the public at High House Production Park, Purfleet.
John Boswell, NCCI Student Event Manager, said: “I’m so proud that NCCI and USP Palmers College have teamed up and worked solidly for the past two months to prepare for this event. I have no doubt that It’s going to be a great evening especially when you combine the technical skills of NCCI students and the performing skills from USP College.”
