You will develop knowledge and skills on how to use a range of Arts programmes to benefit local communities. Learners have the opportunity to cover aspects such as helping to organise and publicise events and exhibitions, assisting with financial record keeping, customer care, dealing with touring, assisting with the management of the building and general office work including using a range of IT software.

This qualification has been designed to give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills to work in a Community Arts Administration Assistant role. Learners have the opportunity to cover aspects such as helping to organise and publicise events and exhibitions, assisting with financial record keeping, customer care, dealing with touring, assisting with the management of the building and general office work including using a range of IT software.

Entry Requirements

While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, you should have a keen interest in working in Community Arts. Applicants must be able to work effectively in a team and be prepared for both shift work and travel. Prior experience is not necessary, but it is useful and should be supported by a portfolio of evidence.
