Business Administration - Level 3
If you have an interest in business and want to work within the creative industries, then this is the perfect route to employment.
It is an apprenticeship that will help you to develop business skills and provide up-to-date, flexible qualifications which meet the changing skills needs of employers. The programme will also encourage you to work on your softer skills, such as communication and teamwork. It will prepare you for a wide range of roles including administrator, office junior, receptionist and secretary. Alternatively, you could progress to a Level 4 qualification.
Apprentices will work on the business and administration side of a creative organisation in order to gain experience of how such companies operate.
There are no mandatory entry requirements for this qualification, but applicants are encouraged to have an interest in working in an administrative role within the creative industries. You will need to have a 'can do' attitude as well as basic numeracy and literacy skills, which will be developed during your apprenticeship.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Administration Officer is responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining cash flows and supervising personnel administration.
A Team Leader will provide direction, instructions, guidance and leadership to a team.
A Personal Assistant will support Managers or Company Directors in a range of administrative, clerical and managerial tasks.
Secretaries are responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative and clerical tasks within an organisation.
