Live Events Rigger - Level 3
Scenery, sound and lighting all play a big part in creating the right atmosphere for a live event. However, for them to work effectively, they need to be installed correctly.
It is the role of a Live Events Rigger to ensure that the infrastructure for the scenery, lighting, sound and audio-visual elements of any live event are installed safely. This route to industry will train you to become a Live Events Rigger, by giving you experience of working on live projects in a variety of different venues.
You will learn how to read and interpret technical plans. You will gain experience of assembling modular structural components, and lifting them into place. You will develop the logic and ability to work safely on your own, as well as part of a team.
All applicants must be 18+.
It is recommended that you hold a minimum of three GCSEs, grade C or above, in English, Maths and Science. Basic IT skills are also desirable. If you don’t have level 2 English and Maths, you will need to achieve them by the end of your apprenticeship.
