Apprenticeship grant for taking on 16-18yr old apprentices

The Government provides employers with a financial incentive to recruit young apprentices.

A grant payment of £1000 is available to any employer taking on an apprentice aged 16-18 (or aged 19-24 with an Education Health and Care plan or care leaver). Payments are made via the training provider and passed on to the employer: £500 after month three and £500 after month twelve.
