Sound Stage
The centerpiece of The Backstage Centre is a fully soundproofed sound stage space, designed for arena-scale rehearsal and production work.
High House Production Park is just 30 minutes from London and home to the Royal Opera House’s production workshop and costume centre. In addition, a major new film and television studio complex is due to be built next to High House Production Park, creating 1,000 jobs in the immediate local area over the next few years.
Artists, including Derren Brown, Rod Stewart, Pet Shop Boys, Bastille, Diversity and Leona Lewis, as well as numerous theatre companies, have hired The Backstage Centre as a rehearsal venue. Filming hires include adverts for brands such as Pepsi Max and Pantene, and television shows including ‘Humans’.
This provides an invaluable opportunity for our students to learn in a real working environment.
