Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update for Employers and Apprentices

Following Government guidance, NCCIL / Access Creative College is continuing to deliver all apprenticeship learning and assessments remotely.

Industry Practitioners will continue to support employers and apprentices virtually for the next few weeks, with travel being restricted to essential-only. Study will continue to be set using the current mechanisms. Where End Point Assessments (EPA) are booked, these will take place remotely where possible. However, the EPA Organisation has said should you or the end point assessor need to cancel due to concerns this will be re-booked at a later date.

Apprentices should be guided by their employers about their working situation, and if any requests come directly to us, we will refer these back to the employer for a response. In the extreme circumstance where apprentices are not in work and not receiving pay, we will need to be notified to ensure that we adhere to the current funding guidelines for apprenticeships and that we continue to provide the support needed by our employer clients.

If you are an apprentice and you have any queries about your working arrangements, travel to work, or your pay, please consult directly with your employer who will be able to advise you of their policies and provisions. Please continue to follow advice set by the NHS on how to stop the spread of the virus as well as the continued guidance from the government. Take a look at our detailed guidance for furloughed and non-furloughed apprentices.

Our websites will be updated as the situation develops and we will also be running a national campaign on our Access Creative College social media platforms to keep our creative community talking (links below). Please bookmark our dedicated Coronavirus pages for all the latest information: www.accesscreative.ac.uk/more/covid-19.

We want to support you as much as we can in these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in contact with us.
