Purpose-built in 2013 to accommodate major productions, live events, rehearsals, conferences and workshops, The Backstage Centre was designed in consultation with industry experts from some of the world’s best theatre live production venues. The result is a stunning state-of-the-art production environment.

We are reviewing the plans for student accommodation at the National College Creative Industries.  In the meantime, we are working with partners at the local authority and private landlords to source affordable accommodation in the local area for students who need to relocate. 

Our location, just outside London, offers easy access to the UK’s largest creative employment hub. In addition, a major new film and television studio complex is due to be built next to High House Production Park, creating 1,000 jobs in the immediate local area over the next few years. 

Thurrock Lakeside is just a five minute drive and has all the shopping you could wish for. The boardwalk is host to a range of restaurants where you can eat before you visit the cinema. And just 30 minutes from London, with easy access by road and rail, the possibilities for getting out and enjoying a fantastic student social life are endless.
